The Lyn Gift and Hallmark Shop sponsored an Easter egg raffle to benefit of Our Lady of Peace’s food pantry. The drawing was help April 7 at the store on Atlantic Avenue in Lynbrook. The winner of the 5-pound chocolate egg was Judy Walker. Almost $450 was raised and donated to the food pantry.

Bill Gaylor, owner of Lyn Gift and president of The Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce, assured the church that this will be an annual event. Pictured were Sister Grace, Sister Mary, Sister Barbara, co-owner of Lyn Gift Lillian Gaylor, Chamber Secretary Carol Burak, and Bill Gaylor.

The OLP food pantry is always in need of additional food. The church assists people of all faiths. “They need and deserve the community’s support,” said Gaylor, so please try to help out.”
