Harlem Globetrotters in action at Nassau Coliseum

Those wild men of basketball are back! The Harlem Globetrotters will bring their 2012 World Tour to Nassau Coliseum on Sunday, Feb. 19, at 1 and 5 p.m. This year’s team features everyone’s favorite Globetrotters – Big Easy, Flight Time, Special K, and Scooter – but also the new exciting class of rookies that has fans talking. They’ve appeared in college games and in NCAA slam dunk contests, and now they’ll be entertaining fans on the current tour.

The rookie class is led by 7-foot-8-inch Paul “Tiny” Sturgess, the world’s tallest basketball player (already in the Guinness Book of World Records) in his Long island debut. Tiny will team up with Jonte “Too Tall” Hall, the shortest Globetrotter ever at 5-2.
