East Rockaway High School’s most cherished and popular tradition of Rock Rivalry was held last weekend, with the Junior class taking first place in the overall competition. The seniors came in second, the freshmen third, and the sophomores fourth.

The Freshmen’s “Who Done It?” was a journey into the past with a teenage detective, Tom’s Diner and a sock hop.

The sophomore’s “Sphinx on the House” had the class walking like Egyptians and looking for their mummies!

The Juniors’ “What are the Odds?” was thrilling ‘Sideshow by the Seashore (Coney Island!) and the seniors glowed with “What Lies Beneath the Stars,” about The Starlettes and a ruthless newspaper reporter (oh, no!)

This year’s Rock Rivalry was coordinated by teacher Nick Cimorelli. Another memorable, entertaining and fun event!

The junior’s sister class of 2010 also took first place as juniors two years ago.
