Susan Williams, the Garden City mother and former Rockville Centre resident accused of hiring a hit man last February to kill her estranged husband, was found guilty by jury members in her criminal trial after four hours of deliberation Monday afternoon.

Williams was convicted on two counts: second-degree conspiracy to commit murder and criminal possession of a forged instrument.

The jury returned a verdict at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, hours after the prosecution and defense presented closing arguments in the case.

Williams will face anywhere between 8 1/3 to 25 years in prison when she is sentenced in December.
