During his visit to Centre Avenue Elementary School, Regent Tilles read poetry to the third-grade class, and they, in turn, shared their own original poem with him.
“We appreciate the time taken out of his busy schedule, ”said Superintendent Roseanne Melucci, ”and we’re grateful that he will keep the unique needs of our school community in mind as the State Education Department makes decisions for the public schools.”
