Mercy doctor honored for Haiti relief work

More than 200 people attended The Friends of Mercy Medical Center's 44th annual Gentleman's St. Patrick Dinner on March 11 at the Hempstead Gold Country Club to participate in ceremonies honoring a number of doctors and community leaders for their contributions. Among those honored was Thierry Duchatellier, Mercy's chief of cardiology. A special presentation was made to the Malverne resident to honor the relief work he did in Haiti following the earthquake that devastated that nation.
