DeVarso and James married

Owen James and Jennifer Brittany (Ham) DeVarso were married on June 1, at The Coral House in Baldwin.

Owen is the son of James DeVarso, Esq. and Kathleen DeVarso, residents of Malverne.

Owen graduated from Malverne High School. He earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in English from Fredonia College in NY.

Jennifer Brittany (Ham) DeVarso is the daughter of Allan Shelby Ham of Massachusetts and Rosemary Gina (Ham) Kinsella of California.

Jennifer Brittany graduated from St. Bernard’s High School in Massachusetts. She earned a B.A. in English with a Music minor from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Owen’s sisters, Lori DeVarso and Ali (DeVarso) Beach were bridesmaids as well as Jennifer Brittany’s sister Maureen (Ham) Nguyen.

Owen’s brother, Jonathan DeVarso, was his best man and Jonathan’s wife, Jeannie (Zwerenz) DeVarso was Jennifer Brittany’s maid of honor.

Flower girls were nieces of the groom, Jessica DeVarso and Aislyn Beach and nieces of the bride, Sage and Arden Nguyen.

The couple honeymooned in the Hamptons for one week and will reside in their new home located on Long Island, with their two cats, Nicci and Guseppi, and their dog Lucky.
