The weather was perfect — sunny skies, a mild 70 degrees and soft occasional breezes. Perfect for Malverne’s annual classic car show and street fair.
Dozens of community residents, children in tow, strolled up and down Hempstead Avenue last Sunday, checking out classic cars, getting their faces painted and stopping by vendors’ booths to purchase knickknacks and food. Malvernites also enjoyed crafts, giveaways, entertainment and more.
The Malverne Civic Association teamed up with the Malverne Merchants and Professional Association to put together the event, at which the Malverne Wildcats cheerleaders put on a dance routine.
