Crossroads Farm at Grossmann's is now hiring

Crossroads Farm at Grossmann’s, a project of the Nassau Land Trust, in Malverne,
officially opened its doors to the public on April 30 and has been selling spring
bedding plants, vegetable transplants, value-added products, vegetables and herbs grown on our farm and across the region.

Major first-year priorities for the farm include growing and harvesting certified organic produce, expanding the farm stand, updating the buildings, grounds and infrastructure, and building a strong, close-knit community of staff, volunteers and customers who care about good, local, and fresh food.

Crossroads Farm is expanding its staff to assist us in achieving these short- and long-term goals. We are hiring:

• Full- and part-time farm interns and apprentices, both paid and unpaid
• Cashiers
• Assistant farm stand manager
• Bookkeeper
