Our Lady of Lourdes Youth Ministry held its fifth annual Souper Scavenger Hunt on March 22, in which 15 teams collected over 5,100 pounds of food to benefit the parish’s food pantry.
The winning team of this year’s competition was Three Princesses and a Prince, which gathered more than 800 pounds of food.
Other teams earning the most points overall were My 3 McKeons and a Plummer, The Jamamas and The Davettes, while teams with the most points earned per member were FOOD, The BaldaTINOs and Bashing Bandits.
Prizes for the OLL scavenger hunt were donated by Angelo’s Pizza, Antonio’s Deli, Connolly Station, Malverne Bagels, Malverne Deli, Malverne Diner, Malverne Pastry Shop, Our Town Grill and San-Dee Lanes.
