Hundreds of proud parents, teachers and school administrators packed the Howard T. Herber Middle School auditorium on June 22 to celebrate Malverne High School’s graduating class.

At the commencement ceremony, Valedictorian Lisa Scott and Salutatorian Priscilla Varghese both made memorable speeches, and reflected on their favorite high school memories and spoke about determination and ambition. They also shared kind wishes to their peers for a bright future ahead.

High School Principal James Brown presented the class, and Malverne Board of Education President Danielle Hopkins assisted in awarding diplomas. Brown and Superintendent Dr. James Hunderfund offered congratulatory remarks at the ceremony.
