Malverne High School kicked off its 2010 Homecoming with a pep rally in the gym last Friday. Students, teachers and parents took to the street for the Homecoming parade on Saturday afternoon, and then cheered for the Mules who, later that day, won the Homecoming game against Oyster Bay.
The Malverne Mules met little resistance from Oyster Bay. They scored 14 in the first quarter, 13 in the second, seven in third and finished with none, winning by a landslide 34-0.
The Mules, decked out in bright blue and orange uniforms, played with spirit, thanks in part to the support of family, friends, classmates, teachers and administrators who cheered in the crowded stands.
