Hundreds of Malvernites took the streets Monday, May 30, to march in the village's annual Memorial Day Parade.
Malverne Mayor Patricia McDonald was joined by other village board trustees as she greeted residents and parade participants. The Malverne High School band, The Pride of Malverne, led the parade, while the Malverne Fire Department and Howard T. Herber Middle School bands performed their own songs.
Members of the American Legion Malverne Post 44 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1073 were among those who marched in the parade.
