9/11 memorial service
A 9/11-remembrance ceremony will be held at the 9/11 Memorial on Sunday, Sept. 9 at Hall’s Pond Park in West Hempstead at 2 p.m. Hosted by the West Hempstead Community Support Association, their annual service welcomes residents of all ages to remember those who perished on Sept. 11, 2001.
