Police seek information about Lakeview robbery

The Fifth Squad reports the details of a robbery that occurred on Monday, March 1, at 7:53 p.m. in Lakeview.

According to detectives, a 24-year-old female victim was approached by an unknown black man while walking in the vicinity of Pinebrook Avenue and Keuka Road. The suspect grabbed the victim’s pocketbook and struck her in the face repeatedly. The victim refused to surrender her pocketbook and the man fled the scene on foot. Nothing was stolen and the victim suffered minor pain to her mouth and chin. She refused medical attention at the scene. There is no further description of the subject.
