Students suggest, receive two new courses at Malverne High School

This year, Malverne High School is offering two new elective courses in drama and leadership.
Both courses were recommended by students to the Board of Education during its Sept. 14 meeting.
The drama course is designed to challenge the critical thinker, reader and performer through the analysis of plays and performance of short skits. The leadership course will investigate the qualities of good leadership and study the actions of various leaders throughout history.
The district plans to continue these courses as long as student interest remains, and it welcomes student suggestions for the future.
