--6th Annual Empty Bowls Pasta Dinner
On Sunday, March 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. stop by St. Mary of the Isle, located at 315 E. Walnut Street, for the 6th annual Empty Bowls Pasta Dinner. The Empty Bowl Project is a community collaboration project that creates awareness of hunger, homelessness and a community that cares for its underserved population. There will be plenty of pasta, facepainting, crafts, a DJ, a ukelele band, raffles and a limited supply of hand-painted bowls. --Painting Day for Seniors
On Thursday, March 15 from 1 to 4 p.m., seniors can experience painting with Joan Lazarus, a professional painter, at the Housing Authority’s Community Room at 225 W.
