The Merrick Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Kids Fest at the Merrick train station this weekend, April 26 to 28. There will be carnival rides galore, provided by Newton Shows, along with fair food and crafts tables. Merrick businesses will be on hand as well to display their wares. The opening ceremony will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. Fair hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with rides beginning at 11 a.m. For more, check out merrickchamber.org.
