A hit-and-run driver in a black Audi injured a 17-year-old boy in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 15, in the parking lot of Calhoun High School, according to police. The victim suffered a head injury and was brought to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition on the same day.

At about 12:35 a.m., the Audi’s driver, a man, began beeping the vehicle’s horn at a group of people, which included the victim, standing in Calhoun’s parking lot. The operator of the Audi then drove the car out of a parking spot and toward the group, striking the victim and fleeing the scene.

A police spokeswoman said she could not provide more information. A secretary in the office of Calhoun’s principal, David Seinfeld, said the school could not discuss the matter, including whether or not the victim was a Calhoun student or his current condition.
