Lauren and Samantha clowned around before the “After the Holidays Egg Hunt” at Fraser Park on April 30. The North and Central Merrick Civic Association hosted the event, and once the hunt began, the pair put their baskets to better use. The civic association’s egg hunt, scheduled for before Easter, had to be rescheduled because of bad weather.

The North and Central Civic Association hosted an “After the Holidays Egg Hunt” on Saturday, April 30, at Fraser Park in North Merrick.
Eager children scoured the park in search of Easter eggs, and all ended the day with bucketfuls of goodies. Even the Easter Bunny made an appearance. The hunt was followed by a matzo ball toss.
