St. Patrick’s Day is a time for all of us to go green and embrace our Irish side, and celebrate the holiday with our friends and family. The Merrick Legion did just that, recently holding a St. Patrick’s Day party at Merrick American Legion Post 1282.
Commander Bernard Hoffman, along with past commanders John Murphy and Tom Riordan, welcomed the guests to the festivities, and Assemblyman Tom McKevitt was also on hand to join in the celebration.
The veterans showed their Irish pride, and appropriately dined on corned beef to honor the occasion.
