'A Year with Frog and Toad' on stage in Elmont

The BroadHollow Theatre Company brings Arnold Lobel's beloved characters to life in its charming production of “A Year with Frog and Toad,” Thursday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m., at the theater at Elmont

Memorial Library. Proceeds from this performance will

support the library’s Annual Scholarship Awards.

Appropriate for ages 4 and up, Lobel's characters hop from the page to the stage in this musical adaptation. Enjoy four fun-filled seasons with the two great friends – the cheerful and popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad. Waking up from hibernation in the spring, Frog and Toad proceed to plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, and go sledding, learning life lessons along the way, including a most important one about friendship and rejoicing in the attributes that make each of us different and special.
