All Bellmore-Merrick school budgets pass by overwhelming margins

The Bellmore Merrick Central High School District budget.

Amount: $147.7 million
Passed with 73 percent
of the vote.


Proposition Two:
A $10 million Central District capital reserve fund.

Passed with 77 percent.

Bellmore Elementary
District budget:

Amount: $33.4 million
Passed with 74 percent.

Merrick Elementary
District budget:
Amount: $48 million
Passed with 77 percent.

North Bellmore Elementary
District budget:

Amount: $53.7 million
Passed with 73 percent.

North Merrick Elementary
District budget:
Amount: $30.7 million
Passed with 79 percent.


Bellmore trustees:
Janet Goller and Maryanne Kelly were re-elected in uncontested races.

Merrick trustees:
Sigal Negrin and Gina Piskin,
re-elected in uncontested races.

North Bellmore trustees:
Joann DeLauter and Peter Mayo were re-elected in uncontested races.

North Merrick trustees:
Wendy Gargiulo, Jennifer Hyland and John Pinto all faced contested races and were elected.
