Schools prep for impending winter storm

The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District and the Merrick School District announced that they will delay school by two hours on Thursday, Feb. 13, owing to an impending winter storm that battered parts of the South and was making its way up the East Coast at press time on Wednesday night.

The North Merrick School District announced that it would postpone kindergarten registration to a later date, which is to be announced.
