Crafting the perfect Valentine’s Day gift

The purpose of Valentine’s Day is to show your loved ones just how much you care about them. Local kids did just that when they recently created jewelry boxes at the North Merrick Library.
With the help of artist Angela DePalma, the children, in grades one through five, designed and decorated the boxes, which made for wonderful gifts to present to the special people in their lives this past Valentine’s Day.
