Elmont teen missing

Joshua Mayes, 14, of Elmont, has been missing since March 18 at 2 p.m., police said.

A 14 year-old Elmont boy has been reported missing for the second time this week, police said.

According to the Missing Persons Squad, Joshua Mayes was last seen leaving his home on Hendrickson Avenue in Elmont at 2 p.m. on March 18.

Mayes was reported missing last Tuesday at around the same time. He was found later that night.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding Joshua's whereabouts to contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All calls will remain anonymous.
