It was a ghoulishly good time at Merrick Chamber's Halloween parade

Posted

Dozens of ghosts, ghouls and goblins of all ages descended on downtown Merrick last Saturday for the Merrick Chamber of Commerce’s annual Halloween Parade, co-sponsored by the Merrick Herald Life.

The free event began at Purick Park, next to R.S. Jones restaurant, and from there, it headed south on Merrick Avenue to the gazebo at Veterans Memorial Plaza, on the north side of the Long Island Rail Road station.

Along the way, there were plenty of giveaways for the children who attended.
