Kennedy senior experiences state Senate

Daniel Reisner, who graduated Kennedy High School in Bellmore on June 27, recently spent several weeks working in the office of New York State Sen. Charles Fuschillo Jr., a Republican from Merrick, as part of Kennedy High School’s Senior Experience Program.

Kennedy’s Senior Experience is a hands-on program that allows graduating seniors to choose a field of interest and work with professionals in that field. During the program, students learn about the daily routines and challenges in a specific line of business while gaining knowledge of the particular requirements involved.

Reisner, who will attend Brandeis University in the fall, assisted Fuschillo and his staff with several constituent service and community outreach programs. In addition, he traveled to Albany to view a working session of the New York State Senate.

"Daniel is a bright, hardworking young man who was a great help to my office. I thank him for his help and wish him all the best in the future," said Fuschillo.
