Mepham takes first at Physics Olympiad

A team of students from Mepham High School in Bellmore recently took first place at the Physics Olympiad at SUNY Farmingdale. The winning Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District physicists were, from left, Werda Alam, Tara Panzarino, Mollie Bienstock, Josh Haimson and Bilal Siddiqui. Joining them in celebrating their victory was their teacher and coach William Leacock.
