The Merrick-North Merrick Little League’s Josh Duren fired one in during a July 2 game against Bellmore during a District 31 game in the Williamsport Tournament on Friday. Merrick beat Bellmore 4-2.

The 12-year-old Merrick-North Merrick Little League’s Williamsport Tournament travel team played Bellmore on July 2 and came away with a 4-2 victory in District 31. The Merrick squad is on a tear, having recently defeated Wantagh 14-0. The Merrick squad will play the North Bellmore-North Merrick Williamsport team on Wednesday, July 7, at John Burns Park in Massapequa at 8 p.m.
