Two-year-old in home when suspects forced entry

The First Squad is investigating a burglary committed late Sunday night.

According to detectives, at 12:25 a.m., a male victim, 29, was in his apartment on Lincoln Street with a female victim, 22, and their two-year-old child when two black male suspects armed with handguns knocked on the door and forced their way in.

The suspects demanded property from the victims while ransacking the apartment, but left the scene with no proceeds after a short time in an unknown direction, police said. No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as male, black, 5-foot-10-inches tall and heavyset, wearing a red baseball hat, burgundy hooded shirt and black pants, armed with a silver revolver.

The second suspect is described as a male, black, with a thin build, wearing a ski mask, black pants, white Jordan sneakers and a winter hat armed with a black handgun.
