Police seek missing Bellmore 79-year-old

Police are searching for a Bellmore man who went missing on Wednesday.

According to police, Frederico Fernandez, 79, was last seen on Pettit Avenue. He is described as a white male, five-foot, nine inches, with white hair and brown eyes. Fernandez only speaks Spanish, police added. He was last seen wearing a white hat, a light blue jacket, beige pants and brown shoes. It is unknown where he was headed, or what his transportation, if any, might be.

Fernandez has a cognitive disorder, and is in need of dialysis.
