Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom, two would-be theatrical moguls turned con men, sing and dance their way through a show biz scam at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre, when Plaza Theatrical Productions brings the beloved award-winning musical to Eisenhower Park. Outrageous and hilarious, you will be laughing the night away. Bring a chair, a blanket and the family and enjoy the beloved summer tradition of theater under the stars.

Garden Delights

‘Midsummer Nights’
Old Westbury Gardens is adorned for a summer celebration, decorated and illuminated by lanterns, as sounds of music fill the air. Stroll the blooming gardens and listen to the cool sounds of live jazz on Friday, with desserts and drinks. Saturday’s program features dance performances with Dance Visions, under direction of Beth Jucovy. The evening includes an original excerpt to Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, dances to Gluck operas, Chopin waltzes and the glorious Schubert Symphony in C.

Hollywood Live!
Broadway meets the silver screen in an entertaining collection of songs from the movies at the New York area premiere of Hollywood Live! Take a tour of cinematic romance and humor from the past and present, starring a trio of top musical theater talents: Rachel Bay Jones, Christina Bianco and Gary Mauer. Special guest vocalist Bob Spiotto and pianist Barry Levitt join the ensemble for a revue of the best of the cinematic songbook.
