Wild Long Island
Thursday, June 29 from 7:00-7:45pm. Malverne Public Library. The Tackapausha Preserve will present a live animal experience at the library. Bring your cameras and curiosity.
Valley Stream Fireworks
Tuesday, July 4 (rain date Wednesday, July 5). Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Fireman's Field at Emerson Place & E. Euclid St Tickets to the event at $8 in advance or $10 at the gate. A decent view of the fireworks display can be seen in the streets surrounding the field for free.
Robotics for Teens
Thursday, July 6th, 13th, & 20th 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. West Hempstead Public Library. Sharper Training Solutions which teach how to use robotic hardware and circuity combined with power supplies, input and output signals wiring, and coding to build light meters, mini-cars, windmills, and more complex projects. Students are to attend all three sessions. This is a teen program.
