Glatt, chair of the department of medicine and chief of infectious diseases at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, is the 2020 recipient of the New York Chapter of the American College of Physicians’ prestigious Laureate Award. Amid outcry from residents and elected officials, New York American Water announced that it has postponed a rate hike that was set to take effect on Sept. 1.
