Win a designer handbag and give to charity at the same time

Doesn’t every girl need a new handbag?

The first annual New Ground Designer Handbag Bingo will be coming to Knights of Columbus in Oceanside on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. Prizes at the fun-filled event will include fabulous handbags from Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and more. A Chinese Auction and balloon pop, stocked with a gold mine of additional prizes, will add to the evening’s excitement.

New Ground, an organization honored by the 2014 Rockville Centre St. Patrick’s Parade, works to help homeless families and veterans get back up on their feet and function independently by offering vocational, educational, technical and mental health support. Rockville Centre resident and New Ground Board President Ed McDougal encourages everyone to attend and join the effort to help break the cycle of homelessness on Long Island.
