The Oceanside Fire Department hosted the 2nd Battalion Parade on Saturday. Area fire departments from Island Park, Long Beach, East Rockaway, Freeport, Baldwin and — of course — Oceanside marched. They walked south from West Windsor Parkway, down Long Beach Road to Fireman’s Field on Mott Street.
