“Ace it for Syd”

The “Ace it for Syd” charity tennis tournament served its third year on June 7. The tournament in memory of Oceanside High School alumna Sydne Jacoby, who passed away in November 2012 at the age of 19. It raised money for Autism Speaks and a college scholarship. There was also a presentation in memory of Susan Aldy, who died of cancer this year.

“Sydne will be 22 somewhere,” said her mother, Nadine Jacoby. “The Jacoby family, with the help of many others, could not do it without the love and support of our community and we look forward to doing ‘Ace it for Syd’ 2016.”
