Are you ready for some pancakes?

Before the Giants got ready to defeat the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, the Oceanside Kiwanis was serving up super plates of breakfast at St. Anthony’s Church cafeteria.

The Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast, an annual Oceanside Kiwanis tradition, is the groups largest fundraiser of the year. This year, nearly 500 residents came out for the fun and, more importantly, the food.

There were the obligatory pancakes, of course, as well as sausage, eggs, bagels and all of the fixings.

Not only was there delicious food, but there was fun for the whole family. The Kiwanis Kids Korner had fun activities for kids, including spin art, balloons, face painting, games and more — all sponsored by Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union.

And for Mom and Dad, there was a Touchdown Raffle Table.

Everyone who came helped Kiwanis score big — the very successful fundraiser helps pay to send kids to Kamp Kiwanis in the summer.
