Students and faculty involved with Hofstra University’s Dance Program present “Coming Together, Moving Forward,” this year's Fall Dance Concert, Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 18-21, at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse. Show times are 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; 2 and 8 p.m. on Saturday; and 2 p.m. on Sunday. As part of Hofstra's 75th anniversary celebration, the university’s full-time dance faculty members – Robin Becker, Stormy Brandenberger, Anita Feldman, and Rachel List – appear together for the first time on the Hofstra stage. Alternating with a student cast, the faculty members perform “Dancing to Music” by guest choreographer Victoria Marks. Originally created in 1989 for Marks’ own company, this quiet and powerful work has been presented nationally and internationally.

Also on the program will be new works by Hofstra faculty Niles Ford, JoLea Maffei, Maxine Steinman, and Karla Wolfangle.

Tickets are $12, $10 seniors and students; available at (516) 463-67644. Members of the Hofstra community receive one free ticket.
