Oceanside Rotary club and OHS Interact club held the 10th annual Art Heyman Memorial Tip-Off Classic on Dec. 4. Over the years the games have funded $20,000 in scholarships for Oceanside and Lawrence high school college-bound seniors. The girls’ final score was Oceanside 63, Lawrence 22, and the boys’ final was Oceanside 68, Lawrence 62. According to Rotary President Jeff Toback, “We know the attraction is the high school games, we have a dinner for the kids afterward, the kids enjoy it, and we get to see them grow and get better on the court.”
