It was a day full of festive joy and merriment Saturday as Holiday Happenings took over School No. 3. With something for everyone, children enjoyed face painting, games, a cookie decoration station, horse drawn wagon rides and a special visit from Santa. Cosponsored by the Department of Community Activities and Kiwanis Club.

Maria Bavaro, Director of the Department of Community Activities said, “The Department of Community Activities offer something for everyone, for children of all ages, from children all the way up to our youngest senior at heart.”

Holiday Happenings, a yearly tradition is just one of the “many activities and special events that we do with the community. It’s our specialists event, if you will. It’s an opportunity for the community to come out, enjoy some festive fun, and enjoy the sounds of the season,” she said.
