Oceanside and Island Park canceled activities

The following events have been canceled due to the impending snowstorm this weekend:

• All activities at the Oceanside Schoold District on Jan. 23 and Jan. 24, including the SAT I/II exam, all athletic activities, DOCA activities, Driver's Education and CITE classes.

• All school faciliites at the Island Park School District on Jan. 23 and Jan. 24. This means there will be no Saturday Morning Recreation Activities and Little League Registration at Lincoln Orens Middle School. The Saturday Morning Recreation Programs will start on Jan. 30 and another Saturday date will be added to make up for the snow day.

• All activities at the Island Park Library on Jan. 23 have been canceled. Caroline Bert's Princeses has been reschudled for Feb. 27 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• At the Oceanside Library, the Art Gallery Reception on Jan. 23 has been canceled, the SAT practice test on Jan. 23 has been rescheduled for Feb. 20 and the Jan. 24 Summer Camp Fair has been rescheduled for Feb. 2 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
