Oceanside Fire Department’s held its Fire Prevention Day at the at Fireman’s Field on Sunday. Residents young and old met with firefighters and kids had blast the friendly faces to run towards if a fire occurs.
It was also a chance for the department to recruit potential volunteer fire fighters and explain the numerous other benefits such as learning life saving information during training, pensions programs and life insurance.
