Four Oceanside High School lacrosse players have committed to offers from Division I colleges and universities for September 2011.

Nick Sherry will attend St. John's University, Tina Pumo will attend Marist College, Allie Fayans will attend Lehigh University and Chris Hughes will join the Army.

The students, school and district officials and parents gathered recently at OHS for a signing event to celebrate the students' success. Members of Audrey Miller's video classes filmed the event and interviewed the student athletes for News 12's MSG Varsity program. The student athletes showed off T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats from the schools they will be attending.
