The Oceanside High School Sailors broke their losing streak at the school’s Homecoming game against Syosset last Saturday.
Anthony Pintabona caught a 25-yard pass from Tom Capone, giving the Sailors a 14-8 lead going into halftime.
The team kept up its performance and defeated Syosset 31-15.
Fans for Oceanside filled the stands. Their school pride was spurred on by the cheerleaders and the marching band, both of which entertained fans during halftime.
