Partly Cloudy Oceanside Sailors celebrate Homecoming 2019

The Oceanside Sailors celebrated a happy Homecoming with a 42-17 win over Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK last Saturday. The varsity dance team entertained the spirited crowd at halftime.

Oceansiders showed their Sailors spirit as they marched in the Homecoming parade on Saturday. Later on, the varsity football team won against the Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK Hawks, 42-17.
Students and community members from several different organizations marched, including Student Government, Key Club, Patriot Club, Amnesty International and DECA. In addition, each high school class created a float for the parade: “Sun Kissed Seniors,” “Jukebox Juniors,” “Safari Sophomores” and “Freshman in the Future.”
At the football game, the high school’s Patriot Club honored Emil Kesselman, a U.S. Navy veteran, for his service. The high school cheerleading and dance teams also performed for the crowd.
