Pet cat Toby returned to owner after month long abduction

Toby, a pet cat has been returned after a brief abduction from an Oceanside woman's home on Feb. 9. According to police, Vincent Fredricks, 20, stole a male Turkish Angora cat from the woman's driveway on Brower Ave. Officers came to the residence and after tracking the vehicle used, arrested Fredricks.

Fredricks is charged with petit larceny, and criminal possession of stolen property. He was arraigned March 7 at First District Court.
