Juvenile charged with robbery in Uniondale

A person that Nassau County police identified as a “male juvenile” 2 allegedly robbed a 13-year-old boy at 2 p.m. in Uniondale on May 2, at knifepoint.

Police responded to Turtle Hook Middle School at 975 Jerusalem Ave., for a robbery that allegedly happened on the school’s soccer field.

The juvenile approached the boy and allegedly displayed a knife, according to police that had the 13-year-old fearing for his life. His sweatshirt was forcibly removed, police said, and the alleged thief left the scene.

Police found the juvenile a short time later and placed him under arrest. He is charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
