Oceanside High School performed its annual roadshow — a student directed production that plays for two evenings at the high school auditorium in addition to its tour of elementary schools — last weekend. The production of The Wiz was directed by Kirra Sinberg with Julie Foglietta as Dorothy, and Kira Metcalf-Oshinsky, Manuel E. Lopez and Brielle Brook as the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion.
Children at School 6 were thrilled with the show, laughing at the antics of the lion, gasping when Dorothy threw a bucket of water at the Wicked Witch and bouncing in their seats while the cast eased on down the road.
